\ \ With oversight from GDC Senior Chief Designer, John Krsteski, and Chief Creative Officer, Luc Donckerwolke, my teammate and I have produced a series of thrilling global premiere videos for the Genesis brand, Hyundai Motor Groups luxury brand. These videos debut at the Genesis premier events worldwide garnering tremendous exposure. My responsibilities include CAD data prep and conversion, landscape/environment modeling and dressing, unique asset generation and modeling, material texturing, lighting, asset/camera animations, vehicle model texturing and physics based rigging/particle simulations, etc.
\ \ Magma GT — World Premier in France
The Magma GT is the new symbol of Genesis Performance Vision. Likewise, this video demonstrates big leaps for our team’s visualization artistry. For this project, I focused on developing a dichotomy of visual styles, cutting from an ominous, dark, bright flashing environment, to full throttle, adrenaline bumping racing sequences on the track. My work includes many of the abstract scenes/environments, vehicle rigging, camera animation, and environment design. This video features a brand new track environment that I built from scratch, providing a fresh landscape and to differentiate these sequences from the GMR-001 track that I created for those videos. It was a spectacular opportunity to introduce this vehicle to the world as the real car took the stage!
\ \ Genesis GMR-001 Hypercar Full Scale — World Premier in New York
This second round of viz production, a collaboration between my colleague and myself, for the famed GMR 001 LMDh was a chance to really showcase more of the emotion and ability the vehicle embodies! Approaching the video in a different tone from the first GMR 001 announcement video, we embraced a lighter, upbeat mood, and showcased the vibrant livery work created by GDC’s (Genesis Design California) creative director, John Krsteski. Utilizing the same track environment we created, we continued developing our interesting camera work, composition, and attempting to push our attention to detail even further, ensuring we are taking another creative step forward with each video. \ \ X Gran Coupe & X Gran Convertible — World Premier in Italy
Here is another spectacular project I had a chance to help put together for the unveiling of Genesis’s new G90 Gran Coupe and Gran Convertible! We made an effort to capture the emotions found when driving through rolling hills, thrilling coastlines, and lush vineyards, each environment meant to compliment the vehicle’s essence. I am in part responsible for asset texturing, rigging, environment design/detailing, and animation/camerawork. We are proud of this project and are looking forward to what’s more to come!
\ \ Genesis GMR-001 Hypercar — World Premier in Dubai
My colleague and I have produced a thrilling premiere video for the global debut of our Genesis GMR 001! The video was played at the Genesis event held in Dubai to announce the project/entry into LMDh racing to the world. This was a vastly exciting task where we, yet again, pushed ourselves further than before to achieve an exciting and polished result. My responsibilities included the entire set design and physical effects of the opening pit lane scene, shared task of modeling and texturing of the track environment and surrounding set dressing, the vehicle model texturing and coloring, and many of the fast motion animations throughout. It was a tremendous opportunity to be a part of introducing the vehicle to the world and give a taste of what is to come when the GMR 001 hits the track!
\ \ Genesis X Gran Equator Concept — World Premier in New York
As the video states, “Its long hood, sweeping C-pillar, and dark-clad wheels embody strength in motion, designed for those who see adventure as a way of life.” The X Gran Equator video showcased our team’s off-road landscape development, employing some staggering cliffside photo-scanned assets and subtle smoke simulations to convey the capable yet luxurious nature of the vehicle. My responsibilities included model texturing, the hangar environment design, and the cliffside scenes environments.
\ \ Genesis X Gran Racer VGT Concept — World Premier in Busan
We proudly introduce the X Gran Race VGT. Continuing to push our creative limits with our lighting, perspectives, and motion, we strived to capture a brief yet compelling story, progressing from the powerful abstract expression of the vehicle, to the precise sculpting and technical engineering of its form, and finally to the all-out, agile performance on the track. My responsibilities include the vehicle CMF/texturing, vehicle and camera rigging, animation sequences, set and racetrack architecture design.
\ \ Genesis Magma — World Premier
My colleague and I spearheaded the creation of the launch trailer for the new Genesis Magma line when it was first announced. My portion of responsibilities includes the vehicle CMF/texturing, vehicle rigging, many of the animation sequences, set designs, and still renders to craft this dynamic visual narrative. It was an extraordinary opportunity.
ACCD ACX Blender Instructor | 2021 - 2024
Taught Blender 3D modeling/animation to alumni and prospective students through Art Center College of Deigns’s ACX (Art Center Extension) program.
My teaching responsibilities included locating high quality inspiration imagery/reference, initial sketchwork and how to transfer into 3D via Blender, full scope walkthrough of the program and its toolsets, polygonal modeling process, texuring/material work, asset import/export, lighting, rendering and animation work.

My focus throughout my schooling was on exterior automotive design with a further focus on visualization. Throughout my degree, I earned scholarships and participated in sponsored classes by Infiniti and GAC, along with having work exhibited in the student gallery.
